Baby Card!

LOOK WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH A SCALLOP PUNCH!!!

This was a fun project for me... I thought of this idea a while ago and remembered it while talking to a lady at a workshop... In theory, I thought it would work... And LOOK... It WORKED!!!

Yes this was for my friend again... Its a BOY! YEAH!!

Im sure she wont mind...
Recipe:
Stamps: Little Pieces (Pram wheels), Cheer & Wishes.
Card: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel, Designer Paper in Certainly Celery.
Ink: Ballet Blue, Close to Cocoa
Seasonings: Very small piece of White Grosgrain Ribbon..

The Pram body was made by punching a piece of Bashful Blue with the Scallop Punch. This was cut in half. The "Lace" was made by first punching into some Whisper White Card with the 1 3/8" circle punch. I then used the Scallop punch to cut around the "hole". This leaves you with a very thin scalloped border which you can bend and straighten. The centre of each scallop was pricked with my 'pokey tool'!

I stamped the pram wheels onto Creamy Caramel card with Close to Cocoa ink and punched with the 1/2" circle punch. (If you dont have this stamp set you could always draw this by hand too!)The handle was punched with a normal hole punch.
White details on the pram were drawn with the Signo Gel Pen, and the Brown details drawn with my brown marker.

Any ideas or suggestions for my next scallop project? Someone has already suggested a sheep or a baby's bib!
Im willing to give anything a try!!

Thanks for looking,
Enjoy.

More Confetti!!

Here are 3 more projects I made from the Simply Scrappin Confetti Kit... Can't say how impressed I am with these kits, not only do you get 6 sheets of die-cut CARD stickers, 3 sheets each of 2 different designs of (double-sided) 12 x 12" paper but also 2 sheets each of 4 different 12 x 12" TEXTURED cardstock... Incredible value for money. Ive only just scratched the surface (so to speak) of my kit... I have some Fab summer photos of the kids I will be scrapping over the weekend... Dont want to bore you all but I need to play!!!

Thanks for looking,

Enjoy.

Simply Scrappin Project

This is a wonderful project I made for a lovely friend who recently had a new baby!

The whole set was made from the Simply Scrappin Confetti Kit... I bought this kit for myself as I wanted a challenge. Those who know me well understand that bright colours scare me! SO, I thought if I could make this work... so could anyone! Well, the results I think speak for themselves.

I was soooooo happy with the kit as all the hard work is done for you. All the colours coordinate with each other and the only extras I had to add was the So Saffron cardstock. I used this as a base because we didnt know if it was a boy or girl baby!

Inside the box I made 6 cards (2 of each design) watercolouring with my Blender Pens.

I found the instructions for the box over on Splitcoast Stampers a few months ago... I will definately be making soem more of these... Look out at Christmas everyone!

More projects with this kit to follow...

Thanks for looking,

Enjoy..
