Sale-a-bration coming to an end...

This card was made a while ago for my Nana's Birthday.

Ive used the Polka Dot Punches set from the Sale-a-bration offer that ends on 28 Feb. The offer is great you just order £45 from the catalogue and you get to choose 1 of 4 limited edtition stamp sets for free!

Heres a close up.

Im really pleased with this one. Not my usual colours but I think they work together...

The colours used were Lavendar Lace, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip and Brocade Blue. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip 1/4" grosgrain and the sentiment is from the Stem Sayings set.

If you are interested in the SAB sets call me ASAP as the offer closes on Sat 28 Feb.

Thanks for looking,

Longing to craft.....

Well, Ive had a really busy week. Its half term holidays and along with keeping the kids amused Ive been keeping the house spotless! Believe me the two things are in direct opposition to each other! Weve had a few people come and view the house this week, I think the snow was keeping them away till now, and one man is coming back today for a second viewing... Fingers crossed!

Im looking forward to Sunday when the pressure is off (a little) and I might be able to craft! I have a few projects in reserve and ready to post so come back tomorrow and I should have an update and some photos for you!

Awarded again!

Awww.... A big shout out to ABI who has also nomimated me for the Kreativ Blogger award... Thank you Abi.

I have another 7 blogs for you to browse.
Last time I chose blogs that were new to me. This time Im sharing with you those who have inspired me through those times over the last year when my 'mojo' has deserted me!...

Michelle My lovely Upline (Supervisor) who is always just a phone call away, will answer even the silliest questions and whose enthusiasm is contagious. Luvs Ya!
Monica Who is (I believe) the busiest demonstrator in the UK... I had the privilege to meet her for the first time at training and it was like meeting an old friend. Her projects are beautiful and so is she.
Jenny I dont know where she finds the time to make all the projects on her blog! She has just had a 3 page spread in Craft Stamper Magazine for some gorge SU! projects! If Im ever stuck for colour combinations I pop over to her blog...
Abi I know she nominated me and already has this award but she is on my daily blog hopping list... Sorry Abs, back at ya babe!
Joanne Classy, simple, beautiful. What this lady can do with a flower punch is truly amazing!
Kristina Ive spoken about Kristina before... Alot... I want to be her when I grow up. She is a Graphic Designer at Stampin' Up! in Utah and a regular blogger. Check her out for weekly video tutorials and colour inspiration challenges.
Dawn Again another lady for the USA but she does gorgeous things with card... Regular video tutorials and easy to reporoduce projects.

Gosh that all sounded like an Oscar Acceptance Speach didnt it? Well, these ladies have all been a help to me in some way while Ive been demonstrating SU! I guess that the fact that Im getting close to submitting my last order here in the UK before the 'big move' means Im thinking and appreciating many things I will miss.

Not that the blogging will stop! Im hoping once our house arrives, packed up in a shipping container, wrapped in brown paper and bubble wrap (a-la blue peter) i will be updating you all regularly on our progress. Who knows I may even sell SU! in the states, then I can tease you all with the BIG CATALOGUE! Ha ha ha...

Sneaky late night posting....

Yes, I know its very late... (Just noticed the time at the bottom of this post is wrong. its actually 12.24 am!) But Ive just finished a project...
Ive made these fabby gifts for the kiddos for Valentines Day tomorrow (or rather today, Argh!) Arent they cute?!?

They are all made with SU! products. The boxes are mini 'Milk Cartons' and they are in holders like you get at fast food places for your coffee. The boxes have yummy 'sweet' treats inside them. Of course I had to make them exactly the same except for the boy/girl colour scheme... My children can't have anything different or it causes arguments!

Heres some more detail for you...

I will update this post sometime over the weekend with the details & colours etc... Im just too tired at the mo...

Enjoy,

Spare a thought...

I just wanted to put a quick appeal out to you caring people... Just been reading about Jade Goody and her condition at the moment. It led me to think that there are hundreds of people living with Cancer day by day. It affects not just them but their family and friends, and continues to affect them long after the sufferer has 'gone'.

Before Christmas I held a fundraiser event and thanks to some lovely ladies (and Ed!) we raised over £120 for Cancer Research UK.

Thank you.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is having an appeal at the moment for handmade greeting cards which they sell and ALL the funds from this will help provide nurses who give in-home care for the terminally ill. Can I ask you take a look at the links below and see what you can do to help...

Thank you very much.

Happy Anniversary!

I know he wont mind coz he doesnt visit here on a daily basis... (or at all!) so Im sharing a special card with you...

Ive made a card for the old man. Its our 14th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow (Phew!) and this is what I came up with. The colours are from the latest Kristina Werner Colour Inspiration Challenge. You should check out her blog if you ever get stuck for an idea.

More Mustard, So Safron, Taken with Teal, Old Olive and Whisper White.
Arent they nice spring-y (?) colours for this awful snowy sleety slushy stuff we have?

Ive made a different fold this time, its called a swing or flip-flop card... Heres the front of the card.

When you open it out this is what you see...

The stamps used are the Loads of Love set and Cheer & Wishes for the greeting. The background is called Sanded, it just adds a touch of texture... I likey! I'm a recent convert to the truck set and I think it is rapidly becoming my favourite...

On the inside I wrote something about an 'Old Relic" I think!
Well, weve been married for 14 years... He should know me by now!

Matt if you are reading this... LOVE YA HONEY!

Hope you like it!

The deed is done...

Well, its done.

Our house is now on the market. The sign went up today. Interior photos were taken today. It will be in the local paper tomorrow.

I had a moment when we realised the board had gone up on the front fence. Then I started to worry... what if we dont sell it in time? what if we have to reduce the price too much? what if...?

I have decided to take each day as it comes... What happens is meant to be.

Anyone want to buy a house?
